TEX-NanoTech is a transparent and breathable surface coating, stain resistant, water and oil highly repellent.    TEX NanoTech protects surfaces from bacteria and viruses proliferation, eliminates air polluting substances, thanks to the effect of light, reflects infrared rays (reducing heat absorption). Its nanotechnological structure allows to coat the single fibers or the microporosities of the material, leaving the surface breathable.

TEX-NanoTech can be applied to fabrics, leather, wood, paper, cement, natural stones, without modifying the characteristics of the substrate. It can also be applied to walkable surfaces.

TEX NanoTech sanitizing action takes place both in the presence of light (due to the photocatalytic effect) and in the dark, its non-stick property prevents the adhesion of bacteria and viruses.

Contains no metal ions or biocides.

The surfaces of fabrics treated with TEX-NanoTech have shown an excellent sanitizing action, tested according to the ASTM E2149-01 standard, with a reduction of 99.69% for Escherichia Coli and 99.14% for Staphylococcus Aureus.

Virus protection has been tested with respect to the human strain of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, obtaining a reduction of 99.2% after 6 hours of contact, according to the ISO 18184:2019 standard (test carried out by the Vismederi Textyle S.r.l. laboratory in Prato - ITALY, ACCREDIA accredited).

Storage and shelf life

TEX-NanoTech must be stored in the original packaging in a dry and cool place (with a temperature not higher than 25°C and not lower than 5°C). In this way the product can be stored for 12 months.

Usage tips

TEX-NanoTech is a concentrated product to be diluted between 5% and 20% in water. Once the product is mixed in water, the mixteure must be used within a few days.

Shake the product before diluting.

TEX-NanoTech can be applied with an airbrush directly on the surfaces or by impregnation with a sponge.

On absorbent surfaces such as natural stones or wood, in order to give long-lasting protection apply 150-200g of product diluted in water per square meter (concentration between 5-20% depending on the application).

TEX-NanoTech can also be applied on fabrics, using washing machines (both domestic and industrial models), putting the product during rinsing at a concentration of 3-5% with respect to the quantity of water used for the rinsing phase, or during the specific program phase dedicated to the treatment of fabrics.

To increase efficiency, durability and resistance to subsequent washes, we recommend drying the fabric in the dryer and then ironing it at the maximum temperature allowed by the fabric itself.

TEX-NanoTech can be applied to synthetic fiber fabrics, using the TEX-NanoTech PU (Pronto Uso) version, a ready-to-use product that can be applied directly to the fabric, using a spray gun or by immersion.

Both TEX-NanoTech and TEX-NanoTech PU products are active a few hours after application if applied at room temperaature, or in the case of fabrics treated with industrial immersion machines, after 1-3 minutes in the oven at a temperature between 100° C and 140°C.

Do not wet the treated surface before 24 hours after applying the product.
